T.K.'s World was originally created on May 2001 in the midst of the Oikawa Arc of the Season Two dub. I was a newly-turned 13 year old and had been a complete Digimon freak since Season One's very first airing. At the time, I had also already created a general Digimon website called "Digimon & Takari". When it neared completion, I wanted to make a site focused solely on Takeru as I had been a long time fan and obsessed with him since Season One...so I did.
After originally being hosted on Homestead.com, TKW eventually moved to Anzwers.org; big mistake! After about a year, there were problems with the server and my site got deleted. I didn't do anything about it until December of 2002: I reopened T.K.'s World with a whole new layout and newly written content. I attempted to keep it regularly updated for the next couple years, but faced many problems with my internet for quite some time. When I DID have access, I had decided it was time to switch hosts as I wanted to be in a completely ad-free space. The shrine was subsequently moved from Geocities.com to Atspace.com and was redesigned in 2006, with only one update the following year. From then on, the site remained opened but in a dormant state.
Five years later and here we are: I decided I can't let this place die. My love for the character never truly died down, no matter how many years went by. During the gap, I attended and graduated college with a BFA in GD; I actually know how to code websites properly now! So with new design skills and nearly every page completely rewritten, as well as the addition of a huge image gallery, I can say with confidence that T.K.'s World is here to stay. Many years have gone by with many more to come - I never intend on shutting this place down!
Past Layouts
Unfortunately, I've only been able to retrieve two former layouts. The others are long gone (tried searching through Archive.org and still couldn't get 'em.) Still...check them out below!

Awards Won
Back in the early 2000s, the owners of Digimon sites used to create awards and give them to sites they felt deserved them. Here are a few I received at the time. Click image for complete view of the award!
